Pilot your helicopter into the danger zone

Bombstrike is a helicopter flight simulator with some impressive 3D graphics and explosive special effects.

There are over 13 missions to choose from but all them involve either the bombing or blowing up of buildings, tanks, anti-aircraft batteries and all kinds of hazards which are out to kill you first. Your job is to pilot the deadliest helicopter of a top secret anti-terrorist task force in various operations. The plot is a bit cliched however - you have to take-on illegal terrorist groups and illegal terror regimes all over the world in intense, nonstop air-to-air and air-to-ground combats.

You can choose between flying at day or night, in all weather conditions and in many different scenarios including deserts and jungles. The simulation is incredibly realistic in terms of graphics and handling. In particular, the battle scenes are action packed with some huge explosions and spectacular bombings. The map that's supposed to guide you however is ridiculously small meaning that you spend more time squinting at the screen that blowing up your enemies.

For great graphics and gameplay, this is one hell of a helicopter shoot-em-up although it's let down by a few basic annoyances.

Are you ready for your hardest challenge? Are you tough enough for a game faster, louder and more intensive than you've ever experienced?

Then ultimately test your shoot'em up skills with gorgeous graphics, hardcore action and a driving soundtrack!

PROS

  • Great graphics and gameplay
  • Lots of missions

CONS

  • Guidance map too small
